However, the question has come up several times regarding what wires are included in the TELEPHONE 1 connector. What is needed if someone wants to build the microphone system individually, or possibly connect these wires directly to the UHP module?
A custom installation is necessary if, for some reason, the 375 connector is not available.
In the document below I have marked which wires are required—in the 10-pin and 18-pin connectors—that are used by the BT Changer. Depending on the Saab’s type, there may be additional wires in the connector (for example CAN bus wires), but these are not required for Hands-Free. Only these 7 wire are required.
