What is the SAAB EXTRA?
Many Saab enthusiasts wonder about the function of the Saab EXTRA button. This button could be found in some Saab 99, 900, and even 9000 models. The TOP GEAR 99 Turbo test didn’t reveal its purpose, but one thing is certain: in my friend Viktor’s 9000, it controls the power antenna.
So, the answer is simpler than we might think—it is exactly what it claims to be: a switch for activating any extra function.
With the Saab EXTRA product line, we want to give new meaning to this funny feature.
Our goal is to offer products that help those who want to keep the Saab brand alive. We aim to provide solutions for common issues and annoying problems.
Currently, we offer two EXTRA products: the SCL emulator (formerly known as the CAN Changer) to fix the steering lock issue in the NG 9-3, and a mirror-folding module for the OG 9-5.
